Mark Hindman was
called to be the pastor of the Union Church of Lake Bluff thirteen years ago. He was ordained ten years prior to that. Prior
to working here, Mark was a youth pastor at the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette in Wilmette, Illinois, a pastoral counselor
at the Institute for Living in Winnetka, Illinois and a crisis counselor at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, Illinois.
Mark attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago and Northwestern University
in Evanston, Illinois.
After twenty plus years, Mark still loves being a pastor. He is most at home in the midst of
pastoral counseling challenges or teaching a Bible Study or leading worship on a Sunday morning. He is also quite at home
in a canoe in the Quetico Provincial Park in Canada.
You can email Mark at canoe37@aol.com. He would love to hear
from you!

Tracy Hindman was
called as our associate pastor five years ago. As the church grew, we needed a youth pastor. After 15 years as the youth
pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest, Tracy was ready for a change and welcomed the chance to work with
Mark, her husband. She is now working hard to build a youth program for our church family. In addition to her work in congregations
with youth, Tracy has taught workshops and been a part of a variety of study groups on youth and the church.
Tracy
can be found teaching our children and youth, working with the board of elders, and generally organizing things! Tracy enjoys
reading, time with her children, and time with dear friends.
Tracy was educated at Ball State University in Muncie,
Indiana, and McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. She has been ordained for 20 years!
Tracy would welcome your
comments at sacredpath12@aol.com.
