The Union Church Sunday School program includes both group worship time and Sunday School lessons divided by grade level. Together with Tracy and then with their grade level teachers, our children are encouraged to apply Bible learning to current life situations. They will grow to understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus, and using the gifts they have been given, they will learn that faith is an active part of everyday life. They will see that loving God and neighbors happens every moment of their lives.
Using several different curriculums including“The Whole People of God”, ‘Spark’, ‘Wholly Moly’, ‘Connect’, and ‘re-from’ as a framework, our teachers strive to create lessons and activities that inform, engage, and excite our children about their Christian Faith.
Every month, our students participate in a service project that allows them to use their gifts to help others. These projects include: Souls for Souls, the Any Soldier Project, etc…
While the overall goal of our Sunday School program is to grow and develop our children’s faith and their understanding of themselves as faithful people, the individual grade level goals differ.
